o “Employment verification” means ensuring how the selected applicant or employee actually worked in the positions listed on the application, resume, or cover letter or otherwise cited in the candidate that qualify the specific person for the job sought, too as all employment throughout a period for at least seven (7) years immediately preceding application at American Acme Group. This verification include things like dates of employment and reasons for leaving each position.

o “Sex and violent offender registry background check” means verifying that the selected applicant or employee is not required undisclosed convictions of certain sex and violent crimes in every jurisdiction how the applicant or employee currently or has resided.

Basic Background check Policy Provisions

* New Staff Employees

o Outstanding Staff employees shall know the following background record checks completed for a condition of employment with American Acme Corporation. Per of the backdrop checks identified in this paragraph, a person’s resources office at each headquarters determines whether it or the hiring department will perform the criminal record search.

– Employment verification – to be completed in the hiring department or headquarters human resources office

– Educational verification – to be completed by the hiring department or headquarters human resources office

– License verification – to be completed with the hiring department or headquarters human resources office; except for a required motor vehicle drivers license, which would be be initiated by recruiting department or headquarters human resources office and completed by Risk Management

– Criminal background background check – to be initiated from the hiring department or headquarters human resources office, with final completion by the headquarters hour or so office

– Sex and violent offender registry background check – become initiated with hiring department or headquarters human resources office, with final completion by the headquarters time office

o Foreign nationals who tend to be offered employment into appointed Staff positions will be subject for the following provisions:
